Privacy Policy
In short
Repwall does not collect personal data on any server. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Everything the app stores stays on your iPhone.

2. Data in the app
Screen Time
To block apps, Repwall uses Apple's Screen Time interface (Family Controls). iOS gives Repwall only encrypted tokens for the apps you select. Repwall therefore cannot see which apps they are, nor when or how long you use them. Your selection is stored on your device only.
Camera
If you choose camera counting, Repwall analyzes the camera feed with Apple's Vision framework to detect body joints and count reps. Processing happens in real time on your iPhone only. Images and videos are never stored or transmitted.
Motion sensors
With motion counting, Repwall reads your iPhone's acceleration and orientation during an exercise. This data is used only for the current count and is not stored.
Settings and history
Stored on your device: your settings (exercise, goal, unlock duration, blackout hours), the days you trained (for your streak) and an optional passcode. The passcode is stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text. The app shares this data with its own extensions (widget, shield screen); it never leaves your device through Repwall. It is deleted when you delete the app.
No sharing
Repwall does not send any data to me or to third parties. The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
3. Apple
When you download the app from the App Store, Apple processes data under its own responsibility, such as your Apple Account data. If you have agreed in iOS Settings, Apple provides developers with anonymized crash and usage statistics. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. This website
These pages are hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, GitHub processes technically necessary data such as your IP address in server logs to deliver the pages securely. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in reliable hosting (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details: GitHub Privacy Statement. I do not use cookies or tracking myself.
5. Contact by email
If you email me, I use your email address and message only to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once it is resolved, unless legal retention obligations apply.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Since Repwall does not store any data about you on a server, you can delete all app data at any time by removing the app.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
7. Children
Repwall is not specifically directed at children and does not collect data from them.
8. Changes
If the app changes in a way that involves processing other data, I will update this policy. The version published here applies.
