Terms of Use
1. Scope
These terms apply to the iOS app Repwall by Yacouba Pfälzner, Ehrenbergstraße 17, 14195 Berlin, Germany ("I"). Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies. In case of conflict, the Apple EULA prevails with respect to Apple.
2. What Repwall does
Repwall uses iOS Screen Time to block apps you select and unlocks them for a time you choose after you complete an exercise. It is a self-control tool – not a medical device and not a replacement for a trainer, doctor or therapist.
3. Health
Exercise is not right for everyone in every situation. Only exercise if you are healthy and at a level that suits you. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort, and seek medical advice if in doubt. Make sure your surroundings are safe and your iPhone stands securely.
4. Blocking and counting
- Blocking relies on Apple's features. I cannot guarantee it works without gaps in every iOS version or cannot be bypassed – for example by revoking the Screen Time permission or deleting the app.
- Counting by camera or sensor is an estimate. Individual reps may be over- or under-counted.
- If you forget your passcode, you can reset it via "Forgot passcode?" after a waiting period.
- Emergency calls are always possible through iOS. Still, do not block apps you urgently depend on.
5. License
You receive a simple, non-transferable right to use Repwall for private purposes on your Apple devices. The app, its design and content may not be copied, modified, reverse-engineered or redistributed except where expressly permitted by law.
6. Availability and changes
I continue to develop Repwall and may change, add or remove features. There is no entitlement to any particular feature or to permanent availability.
7. Liability
I am liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, I am liable only for breach of essential obligations and limited to foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise, liability is excluded – in particular for missed messages or appointments resulting from a block you set up.
8. Privacy
How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the mandatory consumer protection laws of that country remain unaffected. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
